Where this comes from
An encounter that does not change how somebody lives was an experience, not an encounter. A transformation that never leaves the person it happened to was inward only. And a culture cannot be reformed by people who have not themselves been changed.
That is why the three are in this order, and why we will not separate them. The movement is not a programme for any one of them; it is the whole line, held together.
